What is it worth?

Your registration is all we need to start.

Free · No obligation · No pressure to accept anything

One — you tell us about the car

Your registration identifies the vehicle against DVLA records, and its MOT history supplies the last recorded mileage where one exists. You add condition, service history, finance position and how you would like to be paid.

The detail is not bureaucracy. An offer made against a full description has nothing left to discover on collection day, and that is what makes the number hold.

Two — we take it to buyers

Buyers on the platform tell us what they want: makes, models, age and mileage bands, fuel types, value ranges, distance, whether they take damaged or financed vehicles. Your car goes to the ones it matches.

At this stage they see the vehicle and your general area. They do not see your name, your telephone number or your email address.

Three — we come back with the strongest price

Normally within one working day. You get the figure and the terms behind it: whether collection is free, when payment clears, whether an admin fee applies, and how reliably that buyer has paid what it quoted in the past.

You are under no obligation. Nothing is signed, and closing the tab costs you nothing.

Four — collection and payment

If you accept, the buyer arranges collection from your home or work address. They inspect the car, and provided it matches your description the price does not move.

Payment goes directly from buyer to you by bank transfer, with any outstanding finance settled with your lender first. The timing was stated on the offer before you accepted it.

What we ask you to do

  • Describe marks and faults accurately — it protects your price rather than reducing it
  • Obtain a settlement figure from your lender if there is finance on the car
  • Have the V5C, both keys and the service record ready
  • Tell us straight away if anything changes before collection
  • Report it to us if a buyer tries to reduce an offer on an accurately described car

Questions

Common questions

How long does the whole thing take?

A couple of minutes to submit, usually the same working day for us to come back, and collection typically within a few working days of accepting.

Do I have to be there for collection?

You or someone authorised by you, yes — documents are checked and payment is confirmed at that point.

Can I change my mind?

At any point before you accept an offer, and after that by speaking to us before collection.

What if the car has an issue I forgot to mention?

Tell us as soon as you realise. Amending a description beforehand is straightforward; discovering it on the driveway is what causes reductions.
