We hold something unusual: what buyers actually offered for the same car, rather than what cars were advertised at.

Most published used-car data describes asking prices — what vehicles were advertised at. Ours describes the sell side: what competing trade buyers offered for the same specific car, on the same day.
That produces figures nobody else can report, including the spread between the highest and lowest offer, how often an accepted offer was paid in full, and how far apart buyers are on electric cars compared with petrol.
Once enough sales have completed for the figures to be honest. We will publish the methodology alongside the numbers, including sample sizes, so they can be checked rather than taken on trust.
We are not going to release a statistic drawn from a handful of transactions because it would make a good headline. The data page stays empty until it is real.
Regional breakdowns and custom cuts are available to journalists on request once the dataset supports them. Get in touch.
Company registration details appear in the footer of every page. Logos and brand assets are available on request.
